Oh boy, today has been a busy one, that’s for sure! We just got our baby girls first toddler bed today, which means even less sleep for mommy because best believe I’m going to wake up an hour before her, to make sure she doesn’t destroy our house or herself 🤦♀️😂
We’re completely redoing her room and it has been a roller coaster, i’m currently taking a break. Okay, I’ll admit I saw a big spider, 🕷️ turned around to grab a shoe and it was gone 👀 Usually, I don’t mind the creepy crawly 8-legged creatures, but when it disappears and I can’t see it no thank you. 👏
Daddy has been busy today with stuff that is not my job. 😂 Me being me though, got impatient and took matters into my own hands, and decided I wanted to get the room done. He’s out now getting some last minute items and candy for potty training.
We have tried potty training a few times before, but were not successful. We admittedly stopped trying when I had my emergency c-section, that was definitely an experience I’ll never forget. If you would like to hear my full birth story and how it impacted my mental health, let me know and I’ll be happy to share for other mamas who might relate, or mamas who are just curious.🫶
Anywho, back to the story, we decided to go back into potty training full force, since she has her new big girl bed. We figured it would be better to get her into the routine of getting straight out of bed and going to the potty, and before she goes to bed. She can easily get in and out of the bathroom on her own, and has a potty in the car and her own potty in the bathroom. It’s bittersweet watching her grow up and be so independent. 🥹
Alrighty, I guess I better get back to it now, I’m determined to get there room finished. 👏 I’ll be sure to update everybody on how potty training and the new bed goes, especially with her starting a whole new routine, lord help us all, this is gonna be a wild ride. 😫 but, I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🥰
